About Arborculture

Arborculture has a strong reputation for high quality tree surgery and cost effective forestry solutions throughout Pembrokeshire Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire.

Progressive maintenance methods and continuous investment in niche equipment has seen the business make significant progress into different aspects of the tree and woodland industry.

We have branched out to offer all aspects of tree surgery, woodland management, low impact forestry operations, and have diversified into supplying kiln and air-dried firewood and wholesale compost throughout the west Wales area.

We are proud members of the Arboricultural Association, and are working towards becoming ARB approved contractors.

Liam Morris: Tree Surgeon

Nature was a great passion for him as a child, so making trees his vocation was a natural progression. This led him to forge a career in tree surgery, and launch a Pembrokeshire based business centred around tree work, which has gone from strength to strength.

Liam began training as a climbing arborist and tree surgeon in 2000, and went on to work with a number of highly experienced tree surgeons across the UK and Europe.

Working alongside these specialist professionals, Liam gained extensive, in-depth industry knowledge and nationally recognised certifications, including NPTC (National Proficiency Test Council) and Lantra awards.

In 2007, he returned from Europe to set up his own business, originally called LM Tree Solutions, offering a range of tree and woodland services.

What’s in a name?

Arbor is Latin for tree and Arboriculture in Latin means the study, cultivation and management of trees.  For us, working with trees is a way of life. This shows in the care and attention applied to our services and products; tree surgery, woodland management, firewood and compost sales throughout Pembrokeshire,Ceredigion and Carmarthenshire.  That’s why we’re called Arborculture.

At Arborculture, we  understand the value trees and woodlands add to people’s lives. Nurturing and managing these beautiful organisms is good for everyone. People need diverse and productive woodlands for a healthy environment, and woodlands need people to keep them this way.

A progressive outlook allows us to develop with the times. New techniques and specialist equipment keeps us at the forefront of our industry.

Our tree surgery and forestry operations produce sustainable firewood and  quality compost. All firewood is sourced via our tree surgery operations or from local winter felled hardwood. Our compost feed stock is woodchip from our tree surgery works, there is no waste here!

Our ethos is low impact and sustainability. We only use biodegradable fuel (Aspen) and oil (Biotac) in our saws, we are also in the process of transitioning to rechargeable battery powered saws and equipment, wherever possible.

All our equipment and machinery is maintained at the highest level for efficient running. We consider every aspect of our operations, down to the finest detail, enabling us to offer the most efficient, low impact and cost effective service available.

This is our culture – Arborculture.
